Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13 1962) is an American actress from America. Her film debut was with the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known as a member of the Brat Pack of actors. She also appeared on the screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). The performance of Sheedy in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actress. Ally Sheedy, an American author and actress. She started her career in film through the crime film Bad Boys in the early 1980s for which she was praised. In the film, which was directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown, and Alan Ruck also appeared. In 1985, after her successful debut on screen, the actress appeared in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. John Hughes' film is thought to be among the top high school film ever made. Though the budget was only $1 million, its profits surpassed 50 million dollars. Additionally, she began participating in various television shows including CBS Schoolbreak which was her television debut. The show was for teens and began airing in April of 1980. Other TV shows she appeared in are Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. The most recent of her roles is in Little Sister. Another one, X-Men Apocalypse a story about a female superhero where she has a cameo. Sheedy is the recipient of numerous awards for her exceptional performances, including her MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
